A Festival in Green, White and Orange

This project marked my fourth year contributing to the Athens Irish Festival and my first as lead Art Director. I was responsible for developing the festival’s key visuals, including the official poster, core graphic elements, and assets for the new website.

The experience also highlighted the importance of creative coordination. As visual elements were adapted by multiple contributors, sometimes without my direct oversight, certain applications moved away from the original visual direction. This reinforced my understanding that successful art direction extends beyond creating an identity. It requires clear guidelines, communication, and consistency throughout production.

Ultimately, the project shaped how I approach collaborative work today, with a stronger emphasis on creative direction, defined responsibilities, and visual consistency.
